I am so far behind on my Doctor Who! I'm ashamed to admit how far. My husband was lured into the obsession with me and he's seldom home, so if I wait to watch with him I'll never catch up. But I want to wait because I love that he's watching with me. Oh well. I'm trying not to spoil myself, and with being in the states it's a little easier. My daughter was sick today so I watched more PBS Kids than I've ever wanted to. I'm now going to watch something that doesn't involved "education" and relax.

I've gotten back into livejournal and remembered how much I love fanfiction. Yes, I realize that makes me a nerd, and I embrace that with all my being. I'm not a writer, I'm a reader, which is why my journal has all of 2 entries. Yes, this makes #2. And that's fine with me. I love to read, and comment on fanfiction and find this is my favorite place to find new authors. So to all you fanfic authors, thanks for putting it out there. I appreciate it very much.

I got to spend this past weekend with some really good friends of mine in KY. We grew up together and relate to each other as siblings. My husband now knows them and appreciates them almost as much as I do. They are the friends who I only e-mail every couple of months and may only see once or twice a year, but if I needed them they would move heaven and earth to help me. I love friends like that. Low maintenance but loving and committed.
